WINERGY® Burghley Young Event Horse qualifiers kick off
The prestigious WINERGY® Burghley Young Event Horse qualifiers kick off next month at Chepstow Horse Trials on 22nd May.

Supported for the sixth year by the elite equine feeding system WINERGY®, a total of 20 qualifiers will be held around the UK between May and August 2004, culminating in the four-year-old and five-year-old finals at Burghley Horse Trials on Friday 3rd September 2004, the second day of the Event which runs from 2nd-5th September.

The WINERGY® Burghley Young Event Horse series is regarded as a showcase for event horse breeding in the UK. Its purpose is to identify the three-day event equine stars of tomorrow and judges of the series include history’s cream of equestrianism such as Ian Stark, Malcolm Pyrah and Judy Bradwell.

A launch pad for many of the country’s top event horses, the WINERGY® Burghley Young Event Horse Series has become a crucial forum and guide for breeders, owners and riders. The most famous graduate is Pippa Funnell’s ride Primmore’s Pride, owned by Mr and Mrs Roger Lincoln. By Mark Todd’s former advanced ride the TB Mayhill and out of the consistent 4* mare Primmore Hill, Primmore’s Pride took Pippa to victory at Burghley 2003 and played the major part in Pippa’s remarkable Rolex Grand Slam success last year by also winning the Kentucky CCI****.

WINERGY® is the ultimate easy feeding system for horses. The preferred feed for many international leading riders across all disciplines, WINERGY® provides a choice of four complete feeding options to suit every stage of your horse’s fitness.
