Hughes Second At Bordeaux

SHOWING one of her most remarkable spurts of form in the last few seasons, Ireland's Marion Hughes once again produced a notable result in today's (Sunday) Prix Casino de Bordeaux at the eponymous French venue, with a second place on <Heritage O'Jessie>. She then followed this with a fifth place in the jump-off class, the Prix GPA, with <Galileo>.

Last night, Hughes took a first in the Speed Class with the 10 yr old grey gelding <Galileo>, and although she had two fences down in the vital World Cup Class, her record at Bordeaux this weekend is nevertheless impressive, with a second place on <O'Jessie> on Saturday, a seventh on Friday, and two other Top ten placings, with <Heritage Spirit> and <Galileo>.
