Unicorn Trails

Realise your dreams......... we'll get you there on horseback !

ENJOY AN INDIAN SUMMER IN NOVEMBER!

Unicorn Trails are pleased to announce that extra places have been obtained for a fully escorted 14 day trip to Rajasthan this November with the added bonus of participation in the unique Pushkar Camel and Horse Fair.

This is a horse-riding/cultural tour of India. Experience rural Rajasthan on horseback, partake in the colourful annual Pushkar Fair and visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal with extra time available for exploration or some extravagant shopping in Delhi.

Unicorn Trails

Seven days riding takes place on the local Marwari breed, exceptionally handsome battle mounts of the Maharajas; the spirit of Rajasthan embodied in a pair of perfectly curved ears whilst typified by their passion for speed. Prior to British influence in India these horses were the sole domain of the Rajput ruling class and considered to be divine and superior to all men. Saved from extinction this proud horse is now often seen performing traditional combat manoeuvres at the colourful festivals and spiritual ceremonies prevalent throughout Rajasthan. It is a great privilege to have the opportunity to ride these horses and become part of their heritage.

Everything on this escorted tour is of the highest quality. Accommodation is in beautifully restored forts and palaces or luxury tented campsites en route, with many staff on hand to assist with all your requirements. Catering is to the highest standard with excellent three course meals of local delicacies or if you prefer of western origin. Our guide is fluent in English and has been chosen not only for his excellent horsemanship but for his outstanding knowledge of the area.

This really is the trip of a lifetime and an opportunity that rarely becomes available, where you can combine fantastic riding, excellent accommodation with a truly exclusive cultural experience in an unique environment.

We are in a position to offer 10% discount to staff booking through their company (conditions apply) or to direct group bookings of 5 or over.
