Tropical Rider Announces the Release of the Jane Savoie Collection

Tropical Rider is known for designing innovative performance apparel for serious equestrian athletes. They are pleased to announce the creation and release of The Jane Savoie Collection, a line of high quality athletic breeches. Ms. Savoie worked with Tropical Rider to develop the breeches to her high standards. "I have made it a policy that I don't just endorse things for the sake of endorsing, " Ms. Savoie said. "I have to really believe in the product before I put my name on it."

Ms. Savoie was the reserve rider for the Barcelona Olympics, has trained nine USDF Horse of the Year Champions and three USDF National Freestyle Champions. She is equally well known as the author of three best selling equestrian books including That Winning Feeling! and Cross Train Your Horse, and for producing popular tapes and videos.

The breeches in the Jane Savoie line are made in the USA like all of the finely made Tropical Rider products. The extremely durable breech is made from Schoeller, a top European fabric that is a four way stretch weave of 94% cotton and 6% Lycra. This allows athletes the freedom to move while maintaining good looks. "The first time I wore the Tropical Rider breeches I was so impressed because they were so comfortable," Ms. Savoie stated. "They feel like second skin and are really flattering." The elegant breech features a zippered front, two back darts, and belt loops for a sleek fit.

Because athletes will sweat, the Jane Savoie Collection is washable. The real deerskin leather full seat withstands the tough daily demands of professional and recreational riders. Ms. Savoie spends dozens of hours in the saddle each week and knows first hand the type of abuse athletic apparel will take. "At this point I've worn and washed my Tropical Riders a million times and they're just as comfortable as they were the first time I put them on," she said. "The deerskin stays so soft. They're really delightful."

Tropical Rider was founded with performance athletes in mind. "Riders are athletes and deserve comfortable and effective performance wear," said Sheree Ganske, CEO and extreme sports enthusiast. Ms. Ganske formed Tropical Rider five years ago after unsuccessfully searching for riding apparel that met the needs of active riders. "I have been a horse person my whole life, so I knew what riders wanted and needed," Ms. Ganske recalled. The company began with only one product line, but soon grew to offer breeches to meet a variety of needs, including cold weather wear, sweat-wicking fabrics, and more. Tack stores and mail-order outlets around the country now offer the Tropical Rider line; the list can be found at www.tropicalrider.com.

Tropical Rider prides itself not only on providing quality athletic wear, but also excellent customer service. "We stand behind every pair of breeches that we make," Ms. Ganske said. "We want Tropical Rider to be your favorite breeches." This attention to detail was another factor that encouraged Ms. Savoie to develop the Jane Savoie Collection with Tropical Rider. She said, "I'm really, really fussy. If I like something, you have to know I really like it."
