USA Equestrian Announces Team For 2003 FEI World Pairs Driving Championship

USA Equestrian announced today that following a meeting this week of the High Performance Driving Selectors and a meeting of the Selection Subcommittee of the USA Equestrian Executive Committee, it was voted to name pair drivers to represent the United States at the upcoming FEI World Pairs Driving Championship. The Championship takes place at Haras de Jardy, France, September 18-21.

The team members and alternate selected are:

Lisa Singer, Chadd’s Ford, PA, Mike McLennan, Brenham, TX, Larry Poulin, Petersham, MA and alternate, Jack Weaver, Charlestown, WV.

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As
the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 80,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
