Three-Time Swedish National Champion Victorious in American Debut

Los Angeles, CA—Three-time Swedish National Champion Tip Top made his American debut a winning one at the Mid-Winter Dressage Fair in Los Angeles. The bay stallion received a 72.50% from FEI ‘O’ judge Linda Zang in the Prix St. Georges class. The score earned not only the blue ribbon, but also the FEI Reserve Championship for the entire show behind Champion Brentina.

Tip Top was piloted to his victory by two-time USET National Champion and USDF Gold Medalist Leslie Morse. “Tip Top is a blast to ride,” said Ms. Morse. “He really exudes refined power. We are still getting to know each other and every day we become more and more of a team.” Ms. Morse is aiming Tip Top towards the Pan-American Games selection trials.

Ms. Morse also showed the former USET National Champion Kingston to second place with a 69.50% in the Grand Prix Special. It was the pair’s first show since returning from nine months abroad. Ms. Morse earned a USET Developing Rider Grant that allowed her to train with five-time Olympian Kyra Kyrklund in England for most of 2002.
