Not Letting The Grass Grow Under It's Feet

The Pony Club isn’t letting the grass grow under its feet with the announcement that E.P. Barrus under the brand name, Lawnflite, which offers a premium quality range of garden equipment to meet the special requirements of the British gardener, is to sponsor The Pony Club Eventing Championships, including the 19 area qualifiers.

The Championships culminate at The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Championships at Sansaw Park on 20th, 21st and 22nd August 2002 with over 250 competitors aged between 13 and 21.

The Lawnflite National Eventing Championships give Pony Club Members a competition, which needs courage, determination and all-round riding ability and careful and systematic training of the horse. Its aim is to encourage a higher standard of riding throughout The Pony Club and to give the young a greater interest in riding as a sport and as a recreation.

Lawnflite is part of E P Barrus Ltd. who has been a long-term supporter of Eventing in a number of guises. Robert Glenn, Managing Director of Lawnflite, said “This series will reach all those who enjoy Eventing in the Pony Club and in the same way as the Lawnflite product range, it covers every competition from grass roots to the top of the tree.”
