 LENNON TAKES THIRD IN MAJOR DUTCH GRAND PRIX Ireland's Dermott Lennon took Third Place in today's (Saturday) prestigious Eindhoven Grand Prix in Holland, winning £4,000 in prize money. Lennon was clear on the Irish -bred <Liscalgot> after the first round, and although taking the fastest time in the seven-way jump-off, lowered one pole to drop to third place. The only other Irish rider in the Grand Prix, Cian O'Connor, riding <Waterford Crystal>, took four faults in the first round and didn't make it to the jump-off. However, O'Connor snatched an impressive Second in Thursday's qualifier for the near-legendary Eindhoven Derby, and will do battle in the Final tomorrow (Sunday), riding <Irish Independent Casper>.
