Generous Wedding Gift to Help Horses in Need
John and Dilla Patrick, of the Argyll Riding Centre, have very generously
donated £480, collected in lieu of wedding presents and at
Dilla's hen night, to the ILPH (International League for the Protection
Dilla, who has been involved in horses all her life competing in
showing, show jumpingand eventing, rode her horse out to the ceremony
on the tiny island of Eilean Dubh on Loch Fyne, Inverary at low
tide on 11 May.
Says John, a life member of the ILPH, who fulfilled his lifelong
ambition in February last year by taking over the Argyll Riding
Centre, "We would like to thank the guests
for their contributions and their support for the charity."

It was at the Riding Centre last Thursday, 13 June, that they presented
a cheque for the sum of £480 to Jim Maxwell, ILPH Field Officer
for North Scotland and the
Jim commented, "We are very grateful to Dilla and John for
their generosity in making this donation to the ILPH which will
go towards our work helping horses and ponies worldwide."
