Wolin Wins USAE Saddle Seat Adult Amateur Medal Final

Dr. Morgan Wolin, of Chicago, IL, rode CF Cool Night Out (American Saddlebred: CF First Night Out - Callaway’s Coronet, by CH Will Shriver) to victory in the 3rd USAE Saddle Seat Adult Amateur Medal Final, held July 11, during the Lexington Junior League Horse Show in Lexington, KY.

Fern Bittner, Lynda Freseth, and Lynn Harvey McNamara were the judges for the class of seven of the top adult amateur equitation riders in the country. Following the unanimous championship selection of Wolin, trained by Steve Joyce of Hilton Head, SC, the judges placed Brooke Jacobs of Georgetown, KY and CH Bright Lights RWF (American Saddlebred: Supreme Sultan - Anacacho’s Bright Moment, by Anacacho Denmark’s Legacy) in the reserve spot.

The champion was awarded a Patricia Crane horse head sculpture, a Triple Crown Custom Cooler, a USA Equestrian championship medal, a tri-colored ribbon from Hodges Badge Co., a leather halter with an engraved name plate from National Bridle Shop, a pair of leather boots from Ariat, and red roses.

· Reserve Champion – Brooke Jacobs on CH Bright Lights RWF – Brent Jacobs trainer
· 3rd – Christina Sloan of Hallsville, MO, on Spirit Chaser (American Saddlebred: Supremacy’s Spirit - Folly’s Night Flight, by Flight Time) – Brenda Benner trainer

· 4th – Suzanne Van Galder of Janesville, WI, on Star Studded Simbara (American Saddlebred: Simbara’s Rising Son – Miss Larchmont, by Penny’s Superior Stonewall) Scott & Carol Matton trainers

· 5th – Lesley LaForce of Milwaukee, WI, on Commotion in Motion (American Saddlebred: Don’s King Commander – RKR’s Emerald Lady, by Talent Town) – Scott & Carol Matton trainers

· 6th – Jamie Hitchin of Middleburg, VA, on Show Me the Town (American Saddlbred: Jamestown – Oak Hills Finesse by Attache) – Bill Waller trainer

· 7th – Jessica Seimen Curl of Overland Park, KS, on Company Dude (American Saddlebred: Inspiration’s Choir Boy – Two’s Company, by CH Buck Rogers) – Brenda Benner trainer
