USA EQUESTRIAN ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF U.S. RIDERS AT DUBLIN CSIO

USA Equestrian (formerly AHSA) announced today the results of the Dublin CSIO in Ireland from August 8-12, 2001. The squad comprising Schuyler Riley (Ilian), from Wellington, FL; Rich Fellars (Tulip), Wilsonville, OR; Beezie Madden (Innocence), Cazenovia, NY and Norman Dello Joio (Glasgow), Wellington, FL, finished third of seven teams who competed in the Nations Cup behind Belgium and France.

In-form Schuyler Riley riding South Beach Stables 11 year-old Dutch gelding (Zuidhorn x Elan xx) finished a close third behind Switzerland's Markus Fuchs (Tinka's Boy) and Belgium's Los Lansink (Ak Caridor Z) in the Kerrygold International Grand Prix. Beezie Madden came in 13th with the 11 year-old Dutch gelding Innocence (Boreas x Joost) owned by Alan Shores Jr. Another in-form rider, Candice King completed the U.S. challenge by finishing 24th of the 29 starters riding Panlyn Farms nine year-old Selle Francais stallion Elu De La Hardiere (s. Laudanum).

Norman Dello Joio enjoyed a second place in the Kerrygold Speed Championship aboard Judy Richter and Carol Thompson's nine year-old chestnut stallion Warsaw. In the same class, French-based Alice Debany Clero came in 6th with the Loro Piana team's Dutch gelding, Jumbo (s. Zeoliet) followed by Candice King on Cantor - 9th and Rich Fellars with the eleven year-old Irish gelding Amos (Cavalier x Ballinvella) was 12th. Dello Joio was also third in The Kerrygold Classic with the ten year-old Dutch stallion Glasgow (Emilion x Tangelo xx).
