ILPH Half Term Funday an Unqualified Success

Jumping around a course of show jumps, following a treasure trail and pitting wits in a
quiz at a 'horsey' half term fun day proved irresistable for lots of Norfolk youngsters.

Yesterday the sun shone and girls and boys and mums and dads turned up in their
droves to join in the fun at ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses)

Overa House Farm at Larling.

L to R: Sisters Kayleigh and Colette Lassman aged 10 and 8, from Dereham
and Helen Garrood, 11, from Norwich meet Jinx the foal during their
treasure hunt on half term funday, at ILPH Overa House Farm.

Comments Kate Elliott, Visitor Officer at the equine welfare centre, "The weather was
kind to us and lots of people turned up. Mums and dads could relax in the sunshine
while the children took part in all the activities and made friends with the ponies - a fun
day was truly had by all."
