Weaning your foal with Allen and Page - giving him the best start in life

In the first year of his life a foal will attain 90% of his mature height and 95% of his bone growth, so it is obvious that his feed is of the utmost importance during this time. Allen and Page Foal Pellets encourage steady growth and contain high levels of micronutrients, which encourage steady growth, and Protexin Probiotics, which help overcome the stressful effects of weaning by establishing healthy levels of beneficial microflora in the gut. Foal Pellets are the ideal feed for fast growing thoroughbreds and foals, from 10 days through to weaning, providing all the goodness and nutrients needed to develop healthily through this crucial stage.

From weaning up to two years, Yearling Pencils are specifically designed as the perfect follow-on feed to Foal Pellets, again providing all the vitamins and minerals the young horse will need to grow and develop steadily.

Allen and Page Stud Mix is the perfect feed for the owner with both mare and foal at home. Usually fed to the mare during the last three months of gestation and during lactation, Stud Mix is also highly palatable and nutritious to the foal - as he starts to show an interest in mum's feed, he can be allowed some of his own. The inclusion of Protexin Probiotics can help reduce the effects of the stress caused to the gut by a change of diet.

All Allen and Page feeds use only the finest ingredients, are produced without using GM ingredients, animal by-products, gelatine and 'nature-identical' products, and don't contain waste products from the human food industry, recovered oils or artificial flavours.

Allen and Page's innovative range of stud feeds provide the most natural, nutritious and convenient feeds for your youngstock.
