U.S. RIDERS MOVE UP IN WORLD RANKINGS

USA Equestrian (formerly AHSA) is pleased to announce that, according to the
FEI World Rider Rankings released November 1, 2001, U.S. riders are moving
up the list.

Beezie Madden-Patton moved from 23rd to 17th place on the FEI/Gandini World
Jumping Riders Rankings, making her the Leading Lady Rider and the best U.S.
Rider, while Ray Texel moves into 18th place followed by Leslie Howard who
is 19th on the list. On the FEI/BCM World Dressage Rider Rankings, Lisa
Wilcox continues her ascent, moving from 10th to 8th place.

The 11th edition of the FEI/Gandini World Riders Rankings published on
November 18, will replace the edition of December 1. The last ranking list
of the year will be published after Olympia, GBR.

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition.
