The Cleveland Bay Horse

The Cleveland Bay is Britain's oldest breed of horse. Crossing produces powerful quality show jumpers/eventers/dressage horses and hunters.

Please follow the link below to listen to a discussion of the breed between John Crawford of Equiworld and Jean Morgan and Liz Worthy of the Cleveland Bay Horse Society.

(Note: to listen to this file you will need Real Player. A free download is available at )

Shown on the right is Mistral Supreme, a 16 yr old mare who has done everything asked of her by owner Jane Horton. She has evented, shown, been successful at dressage etc. and bred a beautiful youngster who looks like following his mother's example.

Misty is by H.M the Queen's CB stallion Mulgrave Supreme shown on the left (now dead).

The Queen bought Supreme to stop him being exported to the USA.
