Andy's Case

Andy - without hope?

This Dutch Warm Blood baby was born a normal, healthy colt in January 1993. In March he had developed a guttural pouch swelling and subsequent infection. He went to surgery for what started out as a minor problem and ended with paralysis of the throat. Everything was tried to reverse the condition. This poor baby couldn’t eat or drink normally, much as he tried. In August, Dr. DeRock was contacted to try acupuncture as a last resort before he was put to sleep. In this case, acupuncture made the difference between life and death.

Andy recovered completely
