Meet Jacquie
(from England)

Nelly
Nelly

This is Nelly, my 23yr old TB mare. I havent ridden her properly since last October after she had an accident & havent sat on her since May as I'm pregnant. I've been trying to find a loan home for her but nobody wants a horse thats that old, but the photo was only taken a year ago

Nelly

Nelly all ready for the veteran class at a local show. She hadn't been sat on in nearly 6 months & behaved like an angel. Although she did gloop all over the judges clean shirt. (Well if they will wear white..)

Nelly

This photo of Nel & I jumping is my favourite photo out of all the ones I've ever had of her. Why? She HATES getting her feet wet with a vengance. She will rather stay in her stable all day than walk through a small puddle to get into her field. I think that she went into the water so fast, she didnt realise that she was getting wet until it was too late! What you dont see is when she got out, she showed her disgust by bucking her head off & galloping off up the hill squealing like a pig. But I was so pleased that we had actually gone through water that I didn't care!

Cleo

The little grey pony is Cleo. I bought her from an auction a few years ago. There was only 1 bid for her & that was from the meat man so I had to do something. next thing I knew, I'd bought a pony I didnt want & had no way of getting her home. After wandering around the car parks & asking all the lorry drivers which way they wer driving home, I managed to find her a lift. (acting a pathetic female does have its advantages ) Cleo is now a pampered pet, living the life of riley in France & loved by all who meet her.
